Please, Do Not Forget Haiti

Please, please, please do not forget Haiti...Already the news is showing less and less footage. But for those who remain there, the nightmare is far from over.

Pray, pray, pray. Pass this blog and other information on to others, gather with friends, family and co-workers and PRAY. When you sit down to eat dinner with your family, pray for Haiti and help to keep this devastated nation in the minds and hearts of those you know.

Give, give, give. Even though our nation is in a recession, we do not have the slightest comprehension of what these dear souls are going through. Most of us have homes that are structurally sound, warm and dry. Most of us have more food to eat than we need. Most of us have way too many clothes, toys, gadgets and non essentials. While so many have only the clothes on their back, we must reach into the deepest parts of our souls and ask "What can I do? What can I give?"

Go, go, go. For now, the most critical need is for medical care givers. If you are a nurse, doctor, pharmacist of any type of medical assistant, contact someone for information about taking your skills to Haiti for a week or two. There are so many who are there now, working around the clock. They are working in third world conditions, without the use of technology and they are beyond exhausted.

Please, please, please do not forget Haiti.
